After treating the infested violas two weeks ago, the violas are doing much better overall.
Compared to how they looked two weeks ago, they are beautiful. When I get a chance I will remove all of the dead plant material, but I wanted to show it here. The dead leaves are the ones that were infested with the mildew previously.
And, for comparison, the “before” picture.
I sprayed these plants aggressively (with an organically-permitted spray) and it killed all of the infected leaves. Within days we started to see new growth come forward.
I have been following up with preventative biological sprays to (hopefully) stop a repeat situation.
